Electric Fleets
- The new Electric Fleet operations module is available for internal production testing with pilot electric vehicle fleets. This module equips users with electric vehicle fleets with important near real-time insights into the electric assets’ battery, charging status and estimated available range, thus alleviating range anxiety and highlighting parked assets that are not on charge. A map will show all the EV's locations and a list will present all the electric assets with their battery status, estimated available range, charging status, and other relevant information.
Read more on Configuring electric vehicles and where to capture EV details in Add electric vehicles.
To understand the benefits of the EV module, read Monitor your electric assets in MiX Fleet Manager.
MiX OEM Connect
- Fault codes, also known as diagnostic trouble codes (DTC), are processed and stored for Ford OEM Connect assets.
- These will be displayed in a new Faults column added to the Assets page. If the asset has an active fault, a color-coded icon will be displayed in the column. The icon can be clicked to show more information about the fault, like the first time it was detected, the symptom and action that can be taken.
Read View fault codes to learn more.
Customer Insights
- Fuel consumption metrics have been added to the PowerBI templates. The following new fields will now be available on the templates:
- Fuel used
- Energy used
- Trip distance with fuel
- Trip distance with energy
- Calculated consumption fields (Metric - km/l; l/100km; kWh/km, Imperial - mi/gal; gal/100mi; kWh/mi)
MiX Vision
- The MiX Vision AI event duration will now always be reported as zero and the events will be classified as Notify events. The start and end times for the MiX Vision events were not always reported consistently as this was not a logical duration.
- When a GPS time drift occurs on the MiX onboard computer, an offset will be calculated and applied to the event video request so that the video captures the actual event (despite the GPS time drift). Please note that you have to have GPS lock for this functionality to work.
MyMiX
- Portuguese (Brazil) language will now be fully supported.
MiX TechTool
- MiX Techtool now supports event video capabilities for both MiX Vision and MiX Vision AI video solutions.
- For MiX Vision AI, all camera peripherals and the configurable camera names are supported.
MiX 2000/ MiX 4000/ MiX 6000
- Making the MiX4000 available on new organizations will no longer require any other mobile devices to be made available beforehand.
- The MiX 2000, MiX 4000 and MiX 6000 mobile devices make use of either a unit-based odometer or a server-side odometer value depending on the firmware version the unit is running. Instead of assuming that the firmware version on the device is FW 4.6.7 or older and then defaulting to setting a server-side offset (resulting in various odometer-related issues during the installation process), with this release, the units will now default to setting a unit-based odometer when the firmware version has not been reported to MiX Fleet Manager and a user selects to set the odometer.
