The MiX Vision AI standalone solution supports the Idle and Idle - excessive events when added to the relevant event template.
Note that these events can only be triggered when the unit is configured to be used as an onboard computer, i.e. the Streamax Standalone mobile device and not reporting through a MiX mobile device. Read Using MiX Vision device as an on-board computer for steps on how to set this up.
- Click Manage.
- Under Config Admin, click Templates.
- Make sure the Event templates tab is selected.
- Search for the relevant Event template. These are automatically added to the Default event template for Streamax Standalone.
- Click Select events.
- Search for the relevant idle events.
- Click Select.
- Click Save.
Changing an event template will automatically update the configuration settings for all the assets using this template. All these assets will then show a "Configuration changed" status and will require the configuration to be compiled and uploaded for the changes to be effective on the mobile device.
- Click Yes to continue.

The event conditions can be customized in MiX Fleet Manager (RPM, Record delay) for both these events by clicking on the event name in the list of events in the event template.
You can use the record delay feature to define the period that the Idle-excessive event needs to be active before the event is triggered (default 5 minutes).
