Drivers can change rule sets via the TimeClock and the Rovi IV.
For customers making use of the Rovi II, the rule set changes are performed by an administrator on the driver profile in MiX Fleet Manager.
To change a rule set for a driver as an administrator follow these steps:
- Click Monitor.
- Under Fleet Admin, click Drivers.
- Search for the driver by using the filter bar at the top.
- Click on the Hours of service tab on the left.
- If a current rule set has been selected, remove it from the Selected box on the right, by selecting the rule set and clicking the bottom arrow ←

Select the new rule set by clicking on the rule set in the HOS rule sets box on the left and then clicking the top arrow →to add the rule set to the Selected box on the right.
- Click Save.

View the history of all these rule set changes on the rule set tab in the Log Viewer.
