Permission: You will need the "Drivers - Certifications- Import" permission to access this feature.
- Click Monitor.
- Under Fleet Admin, Click Drivers.
- Click on the driver name or click the actions arrow next to the relevant record and click Edit.
- Click on the Certifications tab.
- Click on the Download import template button (1 as shown on the screen above).
- Open the downloaded Excel spreadsheet - usually named DriverCertifications_with_a_timestamp.xlxs
- Enter the relevant certificate data that you want to import. Note: Do not edit column A containing the ID. If you want to add more than one certificate per driver, copy the driver row and paste it at the bottom of the sheet or below the existing row.
- Save the file.
Upload the Import Template
- Click Monitor.
- Under Fleet Admin, Click Drivers.
- Click on the driver name or click the actions arrow next to the relevant record and click Edit.
- Click on the Certifications tab.
- Click on the Import driver certifications button in MiX Fleet Manager (2 as shown on the screen above).
- Click Choose file.
- Select the relevant Excel file that you saved when capturing the data above.
Please note: This file must be the edited Excel file that was downloaded from the Download import template feature. The maximum file size is 10 megabytes.
- Click Open.
- Click Close.
The certifications will now be imported automatically. You will get an email notification that the driver certification import request succeeded.
If the import was not successful, you will be notified via email with the reason why (see example below). Please rectify the issue and upload the file again.
