Under delivery details, you can specify the customer delivery points, several customer contacts and delivery windows for each delivery point.
- Click Monitor.
- Under Fleet Admin, click Customers.
- You can Add a new customer or Edit an existing customer.
- Open an existing customer by clicking the green hyperlinked customer name.
- Now click the Delivery details tab on the left.
- Click the Add delivery point button,
- Add a compulsory descriptive name for your delivery point.
- You can enter the dwell time in minutes, the external reference (for a payroll system for instance).
- The delivery point type is also compulsory and can be a custom location (later releases will allow you to select an address or coordinates).
- Now enter the location name. If you start to type the system will suggest a list of previously stored locations.
- Click Save.
Important
You can remove a saved delivery point that has not been used yet and the record will be permanently deleted.
Once a delivery point has been used in a journey, it cannot be removed.
You can edit any delivery point that has been added to customer details, regardless of whether the delivery point is enabled or disabled.
Add contacts for a delivery point
You can add up to 3 contacts per delivery point
- Click the +next to the Delivery point name to expand the list.
- Click the Add contacts button next to the Contacts heading
- Search for a contact by entering text in the filter bar at the top and press enter.
- Check the box next to the relevant contact name.
- Click Select.
Note that the contacts in this list are strictly for Journey Management notifications and will therefore not include organization contacts. (When creating or editing a contact, you set the type to Customer or Organization.)
A customer may have one or more associated delivery points. Each delivery point can include specific delivery windows. Because there may be multiple customers using the same location (e.g. shopping mall), you add can one or more delivery window/s per customer.
Add deliver windows for a delivery point
- Click the Add delivery window button next to the Contacts heading
- Select the day of the week.
- Enter a start and end time by tapping the clock icons.
- Check the box next to the relevant contact name.
- Click Select.
You will not be allowed to select a delivery window that overlaps with an existing delivery window for the same day.
