If you choose "year to date" as selection criteria for your reports, the system will take all the information from 1 January until the current date on which you generated the report or when the subscription is run.
When subscriptions are set up to run on the 1st day of a month, e.g. 1 April the report will return a column for the current month that contains no data because the report subscription runs at 08:00 AM that same day and therefore has no data to include yet.
If you, therefore, want to see data for, say 1 January 2022 to 1 April 2022, you will get a blank column on 1 April 2022 as the data is not included in the subscription yet.
If you want to exclude this blank column, you could rather choose the Year to Date (full months only) option in the period dropdown list which will provide information from 1 January 2022 to 31 March 2022 as in the example above.
Thus, for all months (besides January) choosing Year to Date (full months) will return the first day of the year to the last day of the previous month.
Because of limitations on some reports (e.g. when a report is restricted to 6 months only) this option will not be available on the following reports:
- Driver Log Report
- Uncertified Logs Report
- Unidentified Hours Report
- Unassigned Hours Report Drill (drill-through report)
- Driver Log CSV Export (custom report based on driver log)
- Driver Log CSV Manual Report (custom report based on driver log)
- Driver Log Data Export (custom report based on driver log)
