- Monitor journey progress daily. View a list of all journey requests on the Workflow screen. You can monitor your journeys from the journey monitoring timeline. Note however, only journeys in an approved, in progress and completed status will be displayed on the journey monitoring timeline.
- Ensure the correct journeys are dispatched and make sure these journeys start automatically.
- Continually monitor journeys to make sure you identify exceptions.
Identify journeys that should have been completed and take one of the following actions:
- Cancel any problematic journeys that are no longer valid.
- Complete journeys manually if the actual route did not follow the plan, or it did not automatically complete.
If the journeys are still in progress but the planned route differs from the actual route taken:
- Update the route while in progress to ensure the actual route will reflect in Journey Management. This will also ensure monitoring will work as expected.
- Apply a journey definition change for either in progress or completed to align planned with actual journeys and to ensure the journey is tracking as expected.
When approved journeys fail to start, check if the asset is allocated to another journey that has not yet completed and manage the in progress journey to free up the asset.
