The Data exclusion management tool (DEMT) is a module that is used internally to quarantine events and trips that are deemed inaccurate or private. You first have to add a new data exclusion query. Read more here. Once this query is in a "Ready for review" status, you will be able to quarantine the relevant trips. Note that organizations that are enabled for Hours of Service will only see the events tab.
- Click Manage.
- Under Operations, click Data exclusion.
- Choose the relevant organization. You can only go down to organization level and you can only select one organization.
- On this page you will see a list of existing data queries, if relevant. (Click here to learn how to add a new data exclusion query.)
- Click the refresh button at the top to see the latest list.
- Click on the "Ready for Review" status of the relevant query.
- Filter on any of the column headings by typing in the filter box as shown above.
- If a driver was deleted from the system, the Driver ID is not visible and the driver name will display as "No identified driver".
- Check the box next to the relevant trips.
- Click Quarantine.
- Click Yes if you are sure you want to quarantine the selected events.
- The status will change to "Quarantine in progress" and the username will be updated to the user who performed the quarantine.
You will receive an email notifying you if the quarantine was successful or if it failed.
Please note that you cannot reassign and quarantine trips in the same action. You will need to perform a separate queries for each.
