Drive Through Report

Overview

• Click Measure.
• Under Insights, click Reports.
• Choose Movement reports under report category.

The Drive Through Report displays information chronologically for drivers and assets passing through locations without switching the ignition off. The report is based on Driver or Asset selection which is then combined with specific location selection. This report is intended for investigative purposes and is not designed to be generated for a huge selection of drivers/assets and locations combined. It is therefore important to note that the calculation of these drive-through points, produces an enormous amount of geo points, and selection criteria should be kept within reasonable limits to ensure satisfactory report generation. It is also important to keep the following in mind when setting up a location or wanting to investigate an incident:

• Frequency of AVLs
• Size of the location

The reason for this is that should an asset have a 5 minute AVL and the location size is very small, there is a chance that this location can be missed if the AVL point does not occur within the location.

• Another important point to remember is that a location can be created after the incident occurred and the report can be generated historically to see which assets/drivers passed through the point of interest.

• The report is able to provide same-day information as it is generated from the asset database.

• The selection criteria have been changed to accommodate more flexible selections, in other words, a combination of own selection drivers/assets and locations.

• A summary is provided at the top of the report for each asset/driver.

Users

The purpose of this report is to be able to investigate either a driver or asset’s movements through an identified area or to investigate a location’s visits where assets/drivers passed through it.
