This feature is helpful in ensuring that an asset does not overrun its service.
Once a reminder is created, the system will send a reminder email notification at the reminder period specified.
- Click Monitor.
- Under Fleet Admin, click Assets.
- Select the specific asset by clicking the link in the asset description column.
- Click on the Reminders tab.
- Make sure the Service reminders tab has been selected at the top.
- Now check the box to enable reminders on distance, duration and/or engine hours and complete the relevant fields as below:
- Distance
- Next Service due at - enter a value.
- *Service interval - This is the distance between service visits.
- *Reminder period - Enter how many kilometers/miles before the service is due, you want to be reminded of the service.
- Duration
- Next Service due at - enter a value.
- *Service interval - This is the months between service visits.
- *Reminder period -Enter how many weeks before the service is due, you want to be reminded of the service.
- Engine hours (please note that this option is only available if the mobile device is configured to record engine hours)
- Next Service due at - enter a value.
- *Service interval - This is the engine hours between service visits.
- *Reminder period - Enter how many engine hours before the service is due, you want to be reminded of the service.
- Distance
*Default values for these fields are specified and can be changed in the Organization settings.
- To send the reminder to anyone other than yourself, click on Select Recipients and select the required recipients.
- Click Save.
