Use Historical Tracking if there has been no asset positions in the last 48 hours.
- Click Monitor.
- Under Tracking, click on Historical tracking.
- Make sure the Assets tab is selected.
- Click on the Organization name to select the required organization and/or site. The organization name is listed in the first column and sites and groups in the next columns. You can search for an asset using the Miller columns.
- Click on the calendar icon to select the to and from dates or click on the drop-down to select a time period, e.g. Last 3 days. Click the check icon to submit your chosen filters.
- Click on the locations icon at the top right to select the locations that must be displayed on the map.
- Click the events icon at the top right to select which events must be displayed on the map.
- Search for a specific asset by entering the registration number, the asset description or fleet number and tap enter or click the search icon.
- You can choose to only show assets with trips for the selected period by checking the box at the top of the list and/or only show assets with events.
Each row displays the number of events that occurred, the registration number, asset description, fleet number, the asset icon and total distance.
Click on the + next to the asset row to expand and view additional sub-trip information, such as trip start, trip end, the duration of the trip, the distance of a trip and the maximum speed reached in a trip.
The action icon at the end of the row allows you to show/hide the trip on the map, show the trip on the trip timeline or to view the trip on Google Earth.
- The flag indicates the start of the trip.
- An arrow shows the direction that the asset has traveled.
- Events are indicated by the exclamation mark.
- The asset icon represents the end of the trip.
To instantly clear multiple trips plotted on the map, click the "Hide all" button on the map layer located at the top next to the map selector.
You can further expand the event information to see when the asset departed, when it arrived, the duration, distance and max speed of the trip. Expand more (continue clicking the +) to see the start time and end time of an event as well as the event type.
