Depending on the mobile device type, the following commands can be sent to the asset from the Live Tracking page:
- Change the daily SMS limit.
- Change the daily satellite message limit.
- Set the relay drive:
- Change the setting of the relay drives to on - Relay should switch on as soon as the command is delivered.
- Change the setting of the relay drives to off - Relay should switch off as soon as the command is delivered.
- Progressively switch on - Relay switches on and off again but progressively starts staying on for longer periods until after a few minutes it remains on.
- Off (When trip ends) - Relay will only switch off when the trip ends.
- On (When trip ends) - Relay will only switch on when the trip ends.
- On when the driver is identified.
- Choose an output line and new state:
- Immobilizer - Control of the relay is returned to the device firmware and it will operate as an immobilizer controlled by the blue plug. - Note: To prevent the asset from being disarmed without a plug, set the immobilizer to "Prevent driver plugs to disarm". To allow the asset to be disarmed without a plug, set the immobilizer to "Allow driver plugs to disarm".
- Clear the message buffer - Clear the message buffer to request the mobile device to remove queued messages that have not been sent because the daily limits have been reached. Note that you will use this command for satellite messages, but not the SMS messages as the latter are sent via GPRS.
- Change the transport method - GPRS (default), GSM SMS.
- Disarm the asset remotely - only for the MiX 4000 and MiX 6000 LTE.
Access these options as follows:
- Click Monitor.
- Under Tracking, click Live tracking.
- Make sure the Assets tab is selected.
- Check the box next to the relevant asset.
- Click the actions arrow at the end of the row.
- Click Commands to mobile device.
- Make the necessary changes by selecting the relevant radio button and choosing the required values, e.g. check next to Clear message buffer:
- Click Send.
Note that these options will vary depending on what was connected in the config and the mobile devices that are supported:
- FM Units and FM Tracers
- MiX 2000
- MiX 4000
- MiX 6000
- Teltonika - Immobiliser is the only relay option that is supported.
