A new version of the Plug Management Utility (PMU) and Timeclock Adapter (TCA) was made available for download with the 19.6 release of MiX Fleet Manager.
The following Service Requests have been resolved:
- The PMU now has a new feature available on the Format Plug page. A new, "Initialize plug" checkbox has been added, which unlocks additional plug types in a drop-down list to enable the initialization of the current plug to the selected type. This feature should be used with caution.
- The Plug Management Utility will no longer return an error after updating, as the app will now install the drivers using the correct file name. Users will be able to successfully install and log into PMU version 19.6.7044.18095.
- The PMU will no longer initiate a check at startup to find if there are new versions available. This update check needs to be done manually and can be found under the Help menu. The USB plug functionality has also been disabled in this version since this functionality should no longer be used by anyone in the field.
- PMU proxy server settings are now working correctly. If no specific proxy settings have been configured, then it will make use of the system wide proxy settings if configured.
- The new Timeclock Adapter (TCA) will contain the latest driver installer, which will install all drivers correctly on all operating systems, including Windows 7.
