Users have the ability to configure JMC contact email addresses for each of the sites. You can also specify auto start buffer settings as well as night driving settings per site. Custom customer notification settings can also be specified per site.
- Click Manage.
- Under Operations, click Organization settings.
- Click the Journey management site level settings tab.
- Click on the '+' to expand the list and see the sites under your specific organization.
- Click on the settings icon, next to the relevant site you want to setup.
Site level JMC contact details
- You can enter JMC email addresses for the specific site, up to a maximum of 5 email addresses per site. If you do not specify any email addresses in here, the system will use the JMC contact details specified in the organization settings to send the notifications on journeys.
Auto start buffer
- This setting allows a single organization to have multiple auto start buffers as per site requirements. The auto start buffer sets a window of when to start a journey; should an asset with a planned journey start to move within that window, the journeys that are scheduled for that asset will start recording automatically.
- Enter a value between 0 and 1440 minutes (24 hours).
Night driving
- Set the values for start hours, start minutes, end hours and end minutes.
- The night driving period, e.g. 8 pm to 6 am, can be set per organization or per site as each site might be in a different longitude and time zone and to account for seasonal factors.
The risk engine will automatically compare the route plan (full or partial) timings with the settings for the site. The risk output screen will display the outcome of the night driving risk item in the environment category.
The risk policy will also be affected to have a risk item for automatic night driving calculation which retains the lower and upper limit approach.
This will give the organization the ability to set a zero tolerance approach to night driving hours or to be more flexible.

Night driving is enabled/disabled in the risk policy.
Customer notification settings
This feature sends a delivery notification (email) to the customer when the asset departs the planned start point of the journey. The email is sent to the email address associated with the managed location for the customer that will receive the delivery. Note that the managed location has to be designated as a "customer" location.
- Check the box next to Departing location notification to send an email to the next location contact whenever a driver departs a current location.
- Once you have enabled this option, you will also have the ability to select "X-minute out location notification", which means that an email will be sent when a driver is a specified amount of minutes away from the customer location. You can specify the number of minutes after enabling this option.
Please remember the following rules when enabling and expecting customer notifications:
- The next location must be of type "customer location".
- The next location must have an an email address specified in the location details for the contact.
- The next location is a delivery location (Stop activity is off-loading).
- The organization must be enabled to send out x-minute out location notifications.
