Supervisors can create tasks using best practice workflow design guidelines such as logical task flow and simplicity.
A task is classified as a step-by-step workflow that needs to be completed.
- Click Monitor.
- Under Task Management, click Tasks.
The landing page for Tasks should now be available.
You can view your tasks per status.
Tasks with a red dot next to them, have exceptions that have not been acted on. Please click here to learn more about Exceptions.
- To add new tasks click on the add icon located on the top right of the screen.
- Enter a task description.
- Select a due date and time by clicking the calendar icon.
- Click the Select workers button to assign the task to a worker / driver.
Note that this option will not be available when you have the MyMiX/Journey Management integration enabled because workers are then allocated as part of the journey creation in the Journey Management module.
- Choose a template or select None if you are not using templates. To learn more about templates click here.
- Select the customer.
- Choose destination details if relevant, you can enter a location, address or latitude / longitude value or you can drag the red pin onto the map.
- Click Save.
