If the MyMiX temporary password has expired, you can generate a new one for the driver by following these steps:
- Click Monitor.
- Under Fleet Admin, click Drivers.
- Use the filters to search for the relevant driver.
- Click the actions arrow next to the driver name.
- Choose Get MyMiX password.
The new temporary password / One Time PIN (OTP) will be sent via text message (SMS) to the driver’s mobile device if a mobile number was provided on the driver details tab.
Please note however that sending SMS notifications to drivers will incur SMS provider costs. Each time the OTP is generated (i.e. each time the Get MyMiX password button is clicked), MiX Fleet Manager will send a text message to the driver’s mobile device.
We strongly recommend informing drivers that they need to take action after receiving the text message before the OTP expires.
