- Enter the button name.
- Select an icon that will be most appropriate for the required input, e.g. envelope for a message.
- Now choose the appropriate button action from the three options available:
-
- Send message - This prompts the driver to answer a question using a confirmation button which sends a message, e.g. has the delivery been completed. If the driver selects cancel, a message is not sent. Enter the message that needs to be displayed in Jobs and Messaging if the driver taps Yes on the MiX Rovi e.g. Delivery completed. You can also specify whether the message must be sent immediately or at trip end only.
- Send message and capture data - This prompts the driver to answer a question using a numeric or alphanumeric keyboard, e.g. what is the odometer reading? Here too, specify whether the message must be sent immediately or at trip end.
- Open sub-menu from this button - Similar to the fuel button, which opens a sub-menu with more options, e.g. fuel volume, fuel cost, etc. The menu title you enter will be available as a tab on the left. Click on the tab to complete the required fields. Click on Add button and select the required icon for each of the buttons.
