PMU Troubleshooting

If you have an issue with the Plug Management Utility application not allowing login or if you continue experiencing other issues, start by closing the program completely.

  • Navigate to Programs & Features or Apps & Features (depending on your operating system) and uninstall the program completely.

  • Navigate to your computer's main hard drive (usually C:) and from here open the MiX Telematics folder:

  • Delete the Plug Management Utility folder.

  • Now open MiX Fleet Manager to download and reinstall the MiX Plug Management utility.
  • Click Manage.
  • Under Config Admin, click Plug Management.

What if the PMU still crashed or does not respond when the plug read button is clicked:

c++ redistributable 2017 is installed.
