Yes, as long as the unit is powered it will record. The unit is powered when the ignition is on but once the ignition is switched off, the unit will remain powered for another 15 minutes before shutting down. The 15 minutes is to allow for the retrieval of video footage on OBC events, during this 15-minute period the unit will also still be streaming.
