Incorrect password entries will lock the MyMiX account. The following steps will allow you to generate a new temporary password for the driver.
- Click Monitor.
- Under Fleet Admin, click Drivers.
- You will now see a list of the drivers.
- Search for the relevant driver using the global search feature:
- Click on the green hyperlinked driver's name or click on the downwards action arrow at the end of the row , and select Edit.
- Click on the MyMiX tab on the left.
- Click on Generate temporary password to get a new 4-digit temporary password that your driver can use to log into MyMiX.
The new temporary password / One Time PIN (OTP) will be sent via text message (SMS) to the driver’s mobile device if a mobile number was provided on the driver details tab.
OTP text messages (SMS notifications) will also work when enabling drivers for MyMiX via bulk import.
Please note however that sending SMS notifications to drivers will incur SMS provider costs. Each time the OTP is generated (i.e. each time the generate temporary password button is clicked), MiX Fleet Manager will send a text message to the driver’s mobile device.
We strongly recommend informing drivers that they need to take action after receiving the text message before the OTP expires.
