The Interval (Tacho) Data Graph displays the second-by-second values of speed, RPM and other inputs such as headlight status, brake pedal status, etc. This detailed information is useful for performing accident analysis. On the timeline, the tacho is depicted by the dark grey block.
- Click Monitor.
- Under Activity timeline, select Trip timeline.
Large amounts of tacho data is downloaded in tacho blocks. These blocks are visible on the timeline separated by white lines for the MiX 4000/6000 units because of the way the data was broken up and stored into the FM format. Please note that this does not indicate any interruption in activity or data but simply how the data was downloaded. This will however not be applicable when data is stored in Lightning.
A vehicle can record tacho data during and/or between trips. This setting can be configured in the mobile device properties.
Although you may have requested recording of tacho data for several parameters, only four can be displayed at a time. Each line is plotted using its own scale on either the left or right vertical axis. Controls are provided on the toolbar for selecting the data that is to be plotted against each axis.
Use the mouse wheel to zoom into the tacho timeline and view tacho data of up to one second.
