Compared to other recent releases, 18.12 may seem minor to the casual observer. Rest assured that we have been taking care of several technical matters in the background and we have ensured that the most pressing service requests have been resolved. This is an important release for MiX as it will lay a strong foundation for some technically big updates to come in the near future. Our QA team are already busy testing some major updates and even some new products that will be introduced in the near future, but are not feature complete in 18.12 yet.
Apart from the resolved Service Requests that can be reviewed in detail by clicking on the attachment link below, we are releasing some enhancements to the MiX TechTool, further improving the operational efficiency gains the TechTool brings about when installing MiX 4000 devices. The mobile app stores will be updated with the 18.12 version of MiX TechTool as soon as all production environments have been deployed.
