Updating existing locations using the import function is a three step process:
Step 1 - Download the corresponding template
- Click Manage.
- Under Config Admin, click Libraries.
- Click the Location library tab.
- Click on the Download Import template icon .
- An Excel file, usually named LibraryLocations_date_timestamp will automatically be downloaded to your computer.
Step 2 - Edit the downloaded file
- Open the downloaded file.
- Make the required changes.
- Click Save/
Step 3 - Upload the File
- Click on the Import icon on the Locations library screen .
- Click on Choose file.
- Browse to the file that you edited and click Open.
The result of the import will be displayed, and whether the import was successful.
