This report will allow you to select any permission in MiX Fleet Manager and then display exactly which users, roles and security groups make use of this permission.
- Click Manage.
- Under User Admin, click Roles.
- Select the relevant role, you can multi-select roles.
- Click on the report button:
- Click "Permissions by user report".
- Select the permission you want to view, only one permission can be selected.
- Click Select.
- The UsersByRolePermissionReport_date_timestamp will be exported to an Excel file and downloaded to your computer.
- The report will display the following columns:
- Permission - the name of the selected permissions.
- Role - is the role that has the permission. If the rest of the row is blank then it means that the role has the permission but no user or security group makes use of it.
- User - the MiX Fleet Manager username. If this is blank it means the role is not assigned to any user.
- Access level - is the level in the tree the user/role security group has been given permission to.
- Security group - the security group that the user has been assigned that has this permission. If this is blank and there is a username, it means the role has been directly assigned.
Permissions: You will need the permission for Reports - Permission by user to access this report.
