EasyTrack allows you to easily monitor assets across multiple organizations.
- Click Monitor.
- Under Tracking, click EasyTrack.
- Select all the organizations you would like to track simultaneously by clicking the arrow next to the organizations listed at the top.
This selection will be remembered and automatically loaded the next time you use the EasyTrack feature.
- Change your selection by clicking on the organization selector at the top.
In-Map searching
You can search by asset, driver or location using the in-map search tool at the bottom of the screen.
Asset Tracking
When selecting an asset on the map, the following asset specific information is displayed:
- Asset description and registration number
- Organization
- Site
- Location
- Last position
- Speed
- Driver
- Heading (direction)
- Ignition - This will display as 'Not available' if the device is not configured for wired ignition.
- A link that will navigate the user to the respective asset in our Live Tracking module.
Events
Select configured MiX Fleet Manager events to view on the map. The event selector includes the following columns:
- Event name
- Event type (custom, system, etc.)
- Organisation (that the event belongs to)
If an active event is triggered within the last minute, the asset is highlighted in red (event icon) and the following event details are displayed when the asset is selected:
- Event name
- Event time
- Event value (if the event is configured to return a value)
Locations
You can choose which of the organization's existing locations you want to see displayed in EasyTrack. Choose up to a maximum of 4500 locations.
Asset map layers
Users are able to add asset labels to their map view. The following labels are available for selection (a maximum of two labels can be selected at a time):
- Asset description
- Registration number
- Fleet number
- Asset ID
- Driver name
- Driver ID
- Speed
- Ignition status
You can also choose to cluster assets in a group. Asset clustering will be off by default.
Map Tools
The following standard map tool options are available:
- Query point.
- Select & zoom.
- Measure distance tool.
- Map view - Select which map view you would like to display (street, hybrid, terrain, satellite).
- Full screen view.
View the asset in Live Tracking
- Click on the specific asset icon to view more details. Then click the "View asset in Live Tracking" to open the Live tracking feature.
Technical Support
- Specific EasyTrack user permissions must be enabled.
- Site-based access is available. You will still see the organization name in the organization selector, but will only be able to search and view assets, drivers and locations for the sites you have access to.
- All unit types, including Tabs Beacons are supported.
- Lightning 3B UI must be enabled.
