- Click Measure, on the main menu at the top.
- Under Insights, click Reports.
- Choose Trip reports under report category.
Overview
The Detailed Trip Report allows for detailed trip information to be viewed by asset or driver over the selected time period. A key feature of this report is the ability to drill down to a map view, which will show the actual movement of the asset. The detailed trip report displays details per asset or driver or vehicle + driver per trip.
Users
- Transport/ Fleet Managers.
- Supervisors who need to monitor distance, idling times and actual driving times.
Columns
This report provides a default selection of columns and numerous additional optional columns which can be selected. This allows a user to design the report to include only data important to their operations.
Default
Even though the Asset (Asset Description) and Driver column names are shown separately from the "default" columns, they are still included by default, if not deselected. They can however be deselected and thus omitted from the report by clicking the X next to the column name.
- Date
- Asset - Asset Description - displays the description of the asset as captured in the system and when clicked will show the asset trail on the map, with additional information.
- If you chose the driver, the driver name will be a hyperlink that will show the trail on the map.

- Driving Time vs Standing Time - graphically displayed.
- Standing Time %
- Driving Time - The difference between the depart and halt times of a sub-trip. (Driving time for a trip is the sum of all sub-trip driving times.)
- Standing Time - The time within a trip that is outside of driving time, i.e., the time between the trip start and the first depart, the time between each halt and depart, and the time between the last halt and trip end.

Additional Settings
- You can choose to either show totals or do not show totals.

The shift time parameter allows you to specify the from and to times for movements, e.g. from 6 am to 10 am for each day.
- Trips that ended in the selected date range and in the shift even though they did not start in the selected date range will be included.
- Trips that started in the selected date range but after the shift selection will be excluded.
A label next to the date range on the generated report will indicate if a user selected a time range in the selection.
