- Click Monitor.
- Under Hours of Service, click Timeclock.
The configuration screen will popup and prompt you to download and install the MiX Timeclock plug Interface Agent. Click on click here to download.
Installing the MiX Timeclock Plug Interface Agent:
- Once downloaded, open the Setup-MiX.Timeclock.Plug.Interface.Agent.exe file.
- The MiX Timeclock Plug Interface Agent Setup window will pop up.
- Read the terms of the license agreement.
- Check the box next to "I accept the terms in the License Agreement" to continue.
- Click Install.
- Click Finish when the installation is completed.
During installation of the plug management system tray application, may ask if the MiX Download Module will be used.
- Click Yes if drivers use the red HOS driver plugs in conjunction with the MiX Download Module (pod).
- If drivers will only use USB driver plugs, the Download Module is not required.
Installing the Download Module:
- Connect the Download Module to the PC via the USB cable.
- If a Driver not found error message appears on the screen, click OK.
- Right click on the MiX Timeclock Plug Interface Agent system tray icon.
- Click Install DMI Driver.
- The FM Download Module Device Drivers Setup Wizard will pop up.
- Click Next.
- After the installation is complete, click Finish.
Please Note:
The MiX Timeclock Plug Interface Agent requires port 8080 on the user's computer to be free to connect to. If the user's computer is already configured to send all local network traffic to their local proxy server on port 8080 this will cause a communications breakdown between the MiX Timeclock Interface Agent and the browser running the site.
The proxy is enabled and configured on a computer by going to Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- Go to the Tools menu item and click on "Internet options".
- Click the "Connections" tab.
- Click on "LAN settings".
- Check "Proxy server" options.
- If a proxy is configured on port 8080, check the following box: "Bypass proxy server for local addresses".
Anti-virus scanning exclusions for MiX Timeclock Plug Interface Agent
To ensure anti-virus scanning does not interfere with the MiX Timeclock Interface Agent it may be necessary to exclude the following specific process and directory from on-access scanning:
