Please note: Newly created configuration groups that contain a mobile device template, with location speed monitoring enabled, require a location template to be selected.
Where a configuration group exists and the mobile device template is enabled for on-board location over speeding monitoring, the config compiles will fail until a location template is added.
The compile fail reason will show the need for a location template.
- Click Manage.
- Under Config Admin, click on Configuration groups.
- Click on the add button to add a new group,
or search for and edit a existing group on the left hand panel.
- Search for the relevant location template by selecting from the dropdown list.
- Click Save.
The configuration group will now be available on the configuration group landing page. You can add the Location template field by clicking the column selector to see all the relevant templates:
Remember to load the locations and config to the onboard computer if you selected location speed monitoring using OBC.
