The on-board location speed monitoring feature is enabled from the Mobile device template. Only BAS enabled mobile devices can use this feature.
- Click Manage.
- Under Config Admin, click Templates.
- Click on the Add mobile device template button
.
- Select the device type.
- Enter a name for the template.
- Click Save.
- Click on the mobile device type green hyperlink at the top:
- Check the box next to Location speed monitoring.
Click on the image to view it in full screen if the article is open in your browser:
- Click Save.
Once you have saved the mobile device template, the Location templates tab will appear as shown in the image above.
