We are pleased to inform you that the next release of MiX Fleet Manager has been approved and will soon be rolled-out globally. Please note that releases 19.13 and 19.14 have been rolled into one release.
1. MiX Fleet Manager
- Users have the ability to enable certain filters on GPS records to exclude positions that do not meet minimum specified criteria from displaying in Live Tracking. These filters have been extended to apply to server-side events and have been enabled by default. Read the attached document for more information.
2. MiX Hours of Service
- The following changes have been made to the ELD functionality, specifically for US customers:
- Administrators are now able to transfer ELD data via FMCSA web services from the US DOT Audit page.
- The ability to add an optional output file comment with the associated transferring ELD files from the US DOT Audit pages has been added for administrators.
- State codes associated with driver location description entries have been added to the transferred ELD file.
- Character validation has been added to the HOS Driver ID field to ensure that administrators enter valid ID’s.
- Associated site information has been added to the Uncertified Logs report.
- The Origin column in the HOS Log Viewer page, will display to users whether a driver used Timeclock on the MiX Rovi or the kiosk (web interface) to change their duty status/sub-status.
- The start/end of day column values in the Hours of Service report have been changed to convey when a driver initially went on duty (start of day) and when the last on duty ended for the 24 hour period (end of day).
- The Time in Violation and Driving Time in Violation column entries on the Hours of Service report now convey information up to a second, i.e. in the format hh:mm:ss.
3. MiX Vision
- MiX Vision custom clips are currently available via a link on email once downloaded from MiX Fleet Manager. For improved security, these links will now require the user to authenticate themselves on MiX Fleet Manager prior to downloading the clip. The email link will include the new URL.
4. MyMiX
- Drivers can now view their trips and events in MyMiX, provided that MiX Lightning 3B (UI) has been enabled for the Organisation and Trips have been enabled in Database administration.
- Clicking on a trip card will display the driver’s trip on the map with start and end positions, including all the events that occurred in the trip on the trail. A trip summary will be displayed with the detailed events below. Clicking on an event, start or end positions will zoom to the relevant place on the map. If there was a video recorded for a particular event, the driver will be able to replay the video from the application and opt to save it to the mobile device.
5. MiX 4000
- The MiX 4000 now supports GPS jamming. When GPS jamming is detected, an event will trigger to notify users.
6. MiX Asset Manager
- The MiX Asset Manager report has been updated to include the Yabby mobile device.
7. MiX TechTool
- The MiX TechTool workflow has been changed in this release and includes a new menu page that will allow a user to add a mobile device, view diagnostics, etc. See the attached document for more information.
- Three additional diagnostic fields have been added to the Diagnostics page. Users are now able to view the ignition voltage, if the ignition state is on or off and whether the ignition is wired or not.
8. Plug Management Utility
- A new version of the standalone Plug Management Utility (PMU) is available. No new features have been added but the PMU has been updated to support changes made in MiX Fleet Manager. Users are therefore required to upgrade to this version to ensure that HOS plugs and other affected functionality continue to work.
