To prevent negative "Energy Generated" or "Energy Consumed" values for electric assets, the end value will no longer be subtracted from previous values at the conclusion of a trip. This is because the end value could potentially be zero if the CANBUS shuts down, which leads to incorrect negative values. The scripts continuously read data from the CANBUS and send it to the backend at regular intervals (e.g., every second or every 10 seconds). This data is sent in real-time, not as tick events. |
