The Rovi IV 24.7 release is a global release containing an important ELD enhancement to the active driver feature specifically for U.S. Customers who can now set their preferred active driver functionality in their organization settings.
This feature allows customers to choose between the previous implementation where drivers were automatically removed as the active driver when they were off duty, and the new functionality where drivers remain the active driver regardless of their duty status to prevent unidentified driving. This new setting is only customizable for drivers on a United States rule set.

The release also contains changes made to the Canadian ELD certification ID values following the recently concluded re-certification process.
IIn addition, the MiX ELD screen locks when a vehicle moves more than 5 mph or 8km/h but for users on a Canadian rule set and on the new version, the screen will now be locked down as soon a the vehicle moves more than 0 km/h or mph.
