When the MiX 4000 or MiX 6000 onboard computers (OBC) experience GPS time drift, the server detects this drift and compensates for it when requesting the video for the OBC events. This ensures that the 8-second video window is centered around the correct time that the event occurred.
For these devices, the server calculates the GPS time drift for the onboard computer and adjusts the event video request accordingly. This adjustment only affects OBC events and does not impact MiX Vision events. As a result, even if there is a time drift issue, the video request will capture the correct time window and the actual event.
