Overview
The Driver Scorecard report displays scoring results based on the period selected. The report displays the individual event scores which make up the total score of the scorecard as well as the total score. This scoring method applies the adding up of points when event occurrence and event duration thresholds have been exceeded for the specific events that were chosen.
This report uses the customized scoring method. This method assigns points to an occurrence or duration, calculated per 100 distance (kilometer/mile).
- For each occurrence a specified penalty point will be applied, e.g. for a harsh acceleration occurrence = 1 penalty point. Therefore, 5 harsh acceleration occurrences = 5 points.
- Event score = event penalty points ÷ distance x 100 for the period specified.
- The score is calculated per 100 km/mi.
- Overall score = sum of all event scores.
- The same applies for duration. A penalty point can be assigned for a specified duration, e.g. if a speeding event was 600 seconds you can assign a penalty point for each 60 seconds.
As per above example Duration is 04:50:12. Calculated to seconds it is 17412 seconds = (4X60X60) + (50X60) + 12.
171412 seconds divided by 60 seconds (the violation rule) = 290,2 points. Decimals are excluded and will display as 290 in the report.
-
- Over Speeding Duration (hh:mm:ss) - Over Speeding duration.
- Over Speeding Score - is calculated as follows: points / distance * 100 in this example (290 / 1476,10 X 100) and rounded to the second decimal, e.g. 19,646 will display as 19,65.
- The report queries the scoring domain for the scores based on the selected drivers and date range.
- There is no need to select amber threshold or speed measure as these are saved on the scoring tab under Organization settings.
Please note: No mobile device types are filtered out from the reports but if the mobile device does not support the scoring information provided in the report, it will not be displayed for that driver.
The report uses the organization's units of measure in the distance and fuel columns because customized scoring is set on organization level and no longer synced with the user's measurement settings.
