Permission: You will need the "Assets - AEMP providers" update permission and the Fleet Admin add asset (commission) permission to sync providers.
To ensure that the most up-to-date assets for a provider are displayed in MiX Fleet Manager you can synchronize the asset details with the details from the provider.
Please note that you cannot manually add an AEMP provider asset to MiX Fleet Manager.
Remember that you also need to make the AEMP mobile device available to see this feature. This is only available on organization-level and the feature is hidden on site-level.
- Click Monitor.
- Under Fleet admin, click Assets.
- Click the AEMP onboarding, cog wheel icon.
- You will now see a list of all AEMP providers.
- Click the downward action arrow at the end of the relevant row and select Sync.
- On the left, you will see a list of all the assets from the provider that are not commissioned on MiX Fleet Manager.
- Select the assets that you want to include in MiX Fleet Manager by checking the box next to the relevant equipment name.
- Click Commission.
- Click Confirm to add these assets.
The system will commission 30 assets at a time in order to allow the successful processing of the requests.
Note: If you get the message “No assets available for provider” it could be that an invalid accountid has been provided, or that no equipment is available for the provider.
- Click Close to return to the main window.
Your assets will now be available in the assets list.
