Permission: You will need the "Assets - AEMP providers" create permission to add providers.
Remember that you must make the AEMP mobile device available to see this feature. This is only available on organization-level and the feature is hidden on site-level.
- Click Monitor.
- Under Fleet admin, click Assets.
- Click the AEMP onboarding, cog wheel icon. (If this isn't available make sure you have the right permissions and that you have made the AEMP mobile device available.
- You will now see a list of all AEMP providers.
- Click the Add icon, to create a new provider in the system.
Authentication credentials must be captured for each equipment provider to retrieve data related to its assets. Different providers require different means of authentication therefore the credentials needed and the fields you will have to supply (e.g. client secret, account ID, etc.) depend on the service provider selected and the AEMP version supported.
- Select the relevant provider from the dropdown list.
- Enter the mandatory credential fields. The system will validate the entered credentials. Some providers, like John Deer, for example, might route you to their website to capture login details.
- Click Save.
The provider will now be saved and added. Please note that each provider can only be selected once for an organization.
- Click Back to Assets to return to the previous screen displaying all the assets.
