- Click Manage.
- Under Config admin, click Configuration Groups.
- Look for the relevant configuration group on the left.
- Click the radio button next to the config group name to view the assets on the right.
Step 1
Ensure that the Configuration Status is "Configuration Accepted." If it is, proceed to Step 2. If not, make these changes:
Black Flag
If there is a black flag next to the asset (meaning that the changes have been applied on the asset-level and not the template level) you must reset the asset to the group configuration settings or modify the template to incorporate changes made on the asset level. (Click directly on the mobile device template name next to the asset with the black flag to open the mobile device template to edit.)
Configuration Status
If the asset's Configuration Status is "Configuration Changed," compile and upload the configuration, then wait for the status to change to "Configuration Accepted."
Step 2
Navigate to templates in the Config Admin module and access the mobile device templates:
- Click Manage.
- Under Config admin, click Templates.
- Click Mobile device templates on the left.
- Search for the correct mobile device template and open it by clicking on the template name.
- Look for the S2 (GSM Modem) line and click on the green GSM modem text.
- Scroll to the GPRS Communication section.
- Update the server address to Global Accelerator by selecting it from the dropdown list.
- Click Save.
Click on the image to view it in full screen if the article is open in your browser.
Step 3
Go to Configuration groups in the Config Admin module.
- Click Manage.
- Under Config admin, click Configuration Groups.
- Look for the relevant configuration group on the left.
- Click the radio button next to the modified configuration group name.
- Click the dropdown actions arrow next to the group name.
- Click Compile.
Step 4
Once the Configuration Status for all assets in the configuration group shows "Ready to Upload," choose the amended Configuration group and use the drop-down menu to click "Upload."
(Click on the radio button next to the config group name to view the asset status on the right as described above in step 1.)
